Been updating the journal at 1 am for the last few nights... and here it goes.


AFA day 2 was better than Day 1. No crowd yay

got there at 11am and well walk straight in AND well nearly straight away, I see danny choo there at his booth shooting the figures at his booth. So there goes me and getting a pic with him and passed him my name card. XD *fanboy mode off*

hahaha. Spend rest of the day shooting here and there and meeting up with to go and watch the live dubbing of the K-on seiyu. Althought it was VERY crowded, there were some empty seats in the left of the hall so we sneak our way there to find 2 seat RIGHT dead center and RIGHT in front of the stage.

As there was no photography and videography allow we sian but it was fun watching how the the 4 k-on seiyu did live dubbing on stage. [Yōko Hikasa/mio was missing]. They had a simple Q&A question and then a special surprise for the crowd, There were 4 sets of autographs to be give away. They were to pick their Favorite number and the seat number matching it will win 1 set of autograph from them. The crowds were shouting their seats number in both english and japanese. Aki Toyosaki/ Yui and Satomi Satō /ritsu had no prbs picking the seats, but when come to mugi /Minako Kotobuki. In total blur and slow fashion she called for seat number that is not even there. It was damn cute.... then we see the crowds fighting again.

For Azu-nyan / Asami Sanada she took awhile and called for A - juu hachi. We just when that is A, 10 . A-18. Checks seats number. my is A-19. :devhiroang:'s is blank. Next to him is A-17. and yap He won the last set of autograph. That made his $15 AFA tickets Worth ahhahahaha.

did not go inside much after that. Spend the rest of the day walking up and down the 3rd floor foyer shooting and chatting with other photographers and cosplayers. I ended up going back in only when the concert was about to start and went WALKING around the nearly empty event hall as the I LOVE ANISONG was going on.

It is not that I LOVE ANISONG is not great, but ahhh i dun listen to aniki, may'n * did not like alot of her songs*, shoku-tan or even miku... * Yes this year stage is way better and sounds WAY more awesome than last year BUT i dun see the need to pay $188. Bring in YUI, Asian kung fu generation, beat crusaders or even the k-on seiyu out. I WILL PAY FOR IT OKAY. bring back aniki and may'n for a 2nd year is like.... i dunnoe boring? I know may'n have new songs and all but i dun see the kick.

Overall AFA was a success, financially [ to the event company]. KKnM did not sold out like last year, Cospa booth did not get much sales from what i see, la tendo still had alot of stocks. Takashimaya had alot to pack so as the UCC coffee [ $3 a can of EVA coffee o.o] even Artist booths were not able to get rid of all their prints.

To me, AFA was good. but not as great as last year. Yes, you got Kaname to come down, You got danny choo too. BUT alot of normal folks dun even know who are they, till yesterday or so. Even in the cosplay circle, they go who is danny choo? ahh jimmy choo's son. *the girls will go... OH JIMMY CHOO... SHOES*

I fanboys over dc and have a pic with him so as his autograph so i am happy. XD.
